Forrester Fourth Quarter Research Revenue Up 5%

Technology specialist Forrester Research has reported a 5% increase in Research revenues to $53.8m in the fourth quarter of 2014. The group's Advisory Services and Events revenues rose 3% to $26.9m.

George ColonyDuring the period, overall group revenue was $80.7m from $77.5m a year earlier. On a GAAP basis, net income was $3.6m, compared with net income of $2.2m the same period in 2013. On a pro forma basis, net income was $5.7m, as opposed to pro forma net income of $4.0m for the same period in 2013.

For the full year ended December 31st, Research revenues were $207.5m compared with $202.8m the previous year, while Advisory Services and Events rose more decisively, to $104.5m from $94.8m. On a GAAP basis, net income was $10.9m compared with net income of $13.0, and on a pro forma basis, net income was $18.7m.

Chairman and CEO George Colony (pictured) comments: 'One full year into our strategic shift to capitalize on the opportunity the age of the customer presents, it is clear that the strategy is working. We have returned Forrester to a growth trajectory. Our goal in 2015 is to accelerate that growth while expanding profitability.'

For first quarter 2015, Forrester is anticipating total revenues of approximately $74.5m to $77.5m.
