Ipsos Healthcare Names Head of Emerging Markets

In London, Ipsos Healthcare has appointed IMS Health veteran Omar Ehsan as Head of Emerging Markets and Global Clients.

Ehsan (pictured) joins with extensive sales, marketing, operations and management experience gained in the global healthcare sector, and his background includes helping companies establish and manage new operational units within emerging markets, launching products, and creating business development / M&A opportunities. He spent fifteen years at IMS Health, where he held senior roles across several locations - latterly as General Manager in Africa. Earlier, he was Marketing Director responsible for new product launches and expanding territories, and before this he served as Commercial Operations Director, EMEA, and as a Client Services Consultant.

In his new role, Ehsan will focus on developing the firm's business units in Latin America, Central Europe/Turkey, Middle East and Africa, while also leading its global client programme.
