Dentsu Aegis Buys Greek Agency Mindworks

Marcoms giant Dentsu Aegis Network has acquired Greek digital agency Mindworks, which will now operate under the name Isobar-iProspect Advertising Services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Costas MantziarisAthens-based Mindworks was founded in 2003, and operated as part of web and technology agency Atcom from 2009 until recently. With a team of more than 60, the firm offers a wide range of digital services including performance marketing, SEO, usability, word-of-mouth, social media monitoring and analytics, along with a full portfolio of creative services.

Mindworks will now be integrated into Dentsu Aegis' digital marketing agency Isobar and its digital performance agency iProspect, and the acquisition launches both the Isobar and iProspect brands in Greece. Founder Costas Mantziaris (pictured) and Managing Partner Giorgos Vareloglou will continue to lead the business as Head of iProspect and Isobar Hellas respectively, reporting to Nikos Simbouras, General Manager of Dentsu Aegis Network in Greece.
