Kinesis Upgrades Panel Management Options

Research software firm Kinesis Survey Technologies has launched a set of enhancements to improve response rates in online panels, including 'Responsive Email Templates' for easier management of multiple communities and brands.

The upgrades to the firm's Kinesis Panel product will be available next month, and should increase response rates among mobile users such as millennials, as well as automating other panel management processes, according to the firm.

New features allow panel managers to launch projects to multiple communities and brands concurrently, reducing set-up time and overall complexity of projects; and to speed up the design of customised surveys via web and mobile-friendly 'responsive emails' and pre-built design options for SMS and in-app messaging, among others.

CTO Juha Vehnia says the improvements are the first steps in a series of automation enhancements planned over the coming months. European Director Tariq Mirza comments: 'We see that traditional invitation methods are not necessarily ideal for all demographic segments. The new designs pave the way for invitations of the future that are based on the preferences of individual respondents and enhance the perception of respondents about the quality of the panel in which they participate.'
