MDC and Doner Open Multicultural Consultancy

Marcoms network MDC Partners and its digital strategy agency Doner have launched a specialist multicultural business called Cultura United Agency, offering full-service ad and PR expertise driven by insights across Hispanic, African American and Asian audiences.

Anita Alban GastelumThe new Los Angeles-based firm will draw on Doner's resources - including its production, digital, shopper marketing, social media and analytics expertise - to help marketers and agencies communicate and promote brands in the multicultural marketplace. Anita Alban Gastelum (pictured) will head up the business, making use of more than two decades of experience in agency management and US Hispanic advertising and marcoms leadership roles. Most recently, she was a member of the exec leadership team at IPG's multicultural agency Axis for ten years, prior to which she served as VP/Regional Director for Fleishman Hillard's Hispanic group FH Hispania. Earlier, she worked for boutique Hispanic agencies Cruz/Kravetz:IDEAS, and for TBWA's Hispanic arm Enlace Communications.
