Pearl Scan Rolls Out Survey Data Capture Service

In the UK, document scanning specialist Pearl Scan has introduced a service to capture data from paper-based customer feedback forms and return it in any preferred digital format.

Manchester-based Pearl Scan provides document scanning and data capture services to clients nationally. The new service captures business data from customer satisfaction and employee research surveys and questionnaires, and the firm says it will pick up any volume of survey forms from any UK location.

The technology handles data in most formats, including multi-choice questions with tick boxes, open-ended questions with free text, and barcodes for identification, as well as images.

MD Naveed Ashraf explains: 'We understand how important it is to gather customer feedback to drive improvement and business growth, but sometimes it's such a hassle that many companies skip over it. We want to tell them that there is an easier way - simply send us your data, and we can digitise it and send it back in any preferred format, whether it's Excel, XML or a dedicated database'.
