Analytics Company WizRocket Raises $8m
WizRocket, Inc., a real-time analytics and mobile engagement platform with bases in Walnut, CA, USA and Mumbai, India, has raised $8m in new funding.
WizRocket's platform taps uninstall data and helps developers build mobile apps integrating advanced segmentation and campaign development features, helping them retain and target customers. The company, which has around a dozen employees, says it will use the money to grow 'the industry's first prescriptive engagement platform' and an API giving developers 'unprecedented, code-level access to customizing user experiences'.
The new round was led by Sequoia Capital and also included Accel Partners, who provided WizRocket's initial $1.6m seed round in 2013
