Influencer Platform Reelio Gets Expansion Funds

In New York, influencer marketing platform Reelio has raised $5m in Series A funding, which it will use to expand into key markets, and develop new technology solutions.

Reelio provides brands, agencies and publishers with the tools and support to build and manage branded content partnerships with popular influencers. Its offer combines a data-driven, self-service technology platform with a team of dedicated influencer marketing specialists.

The new funding round has been led by a global syndicate of investors including e.ventures; the venture capital firms of Philipp Schindler, Lorne Michaels, Tremor Video founders Jason Glickman and Andrew Reis, former Sony Music President and Bertelsmann executive Board member Thomas Hesse; and senior execs from Apple, Google, Goldman Sachs, BBDO and others.
