Merkle Hires Former [x+1] SVP

In the US, data, consumer insights and analytics specialist Merkle has appointed former [x+1] exec David Skinner as Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Partnerships in its Enterprise Solutions Group.

David SkinnerSkinner (pictured) joins from digital ad solutions firm Rocket Fuel, where he served as VP Global Partnerships, in charge of the Business Development and Supply teams. Before this, he worked for online audience targeting firm [x+1] for six years, and latterly served as SVP - Business & Corporate Development, prior to the firm's acquisition by Rocket Fuel. Earlier, he held senior roles at Marketing Management Analytics (now part of Ipsos), KPMG Consulting, and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.

In his new position, Skinner will be responsible for formalizing Merkle's partnership structure with marketing and advertising technology providers, and media platforms in the industry.
