fiftyfive5 Branches Out with Senior Shopper Hires

In Australia, insights consultancy fiftyfive5 has expanded into retail strategy, category management and shopper insights, appointing Sue Temple as Director Shopper and Category, and Peter Firth as a Consultant.

Sue Temple and Peter Firthfiftyfive5 was launched in Sydney, Australia in 2010 by three former Directors of The Leading Edge: Karen Phillips, Mark Sundquist and Darren Kemp. The firm now boasts a team of 50, working for clients in Australia, New Zealand, the US and the UK.

Temple joins after nearly three years at Woolworths, where she initially developed a category management framework, data tools and training programmes, and latterly led the transformation of the Loyalty business with a focus on overall strategy, research, and analytics software and processes. Prior to this she spent more than twenty years working in senior category and shopper roles for FMCGs, including both PepsiCo and Coca-Cola, and Quaker Foods.

Firth joins after fourteen years at TNS, most recently in Melbourne where he was the national lead for Shopper Insights, having worked across multiple sectors, methodologies and clients since his transfer in 2011 from the UK office.
