Publisher NAPCO Hires for New Research Offering

Philadelphia-based b2b firm NAPCO Media has appointed a Director of Research, former Forrester analyst Nathan Safran, to lead a newly created market intelligence unit, NAPCO Research.

Nathan SafranThe b2b media group covers printing and packaging, publishing, marketing and promotional products sectors, as well as retail, non-profit and consumer technology; and is the parent of trade publication Printing Impressions. The group has recently added Video Services, Events and Marketing Services divisions, and says its well-established brands, audiences and sector experience leave it 'uniquely positioned to produce a full range of research capabilities, including quantitative and qualitative surveys, data analysis and white paper development'.

Safran (pictured) began his career at Forrester and was most recently owner and principal analyst of Blue Nile Research. NAPCO Media president Dave Leskusky says the new team will help clients to understand market trends, compare benchmarks, identify new business opportunities and ultimately grow their businesses. He comments: 'We found the right person to launch this initiative. Nathan is an accomplished analyst, thought leader and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of research experience'.
