Bulletin Intelligence Hires to Expand Range of Services

In the US, customized briefings provider Bulletin Intelligence has appointed John Shomaker as Senior Vice President of Data Services, with responsibility for expanding its portfolio of analytic and intelligence solutions.

Bulletin Intelligence distils and analyses news and other open-source intelligence - such as financial analyst reports, industry research and M&A information - to provide custom daily briefings and dashboards. Clients include the White House, US Cabinet-level agencies, companies, and medical and professional associations, and the service reaches more than 1.5 million professionals every day.

Shomaker (pictured) joins from digital advertising exchange Zenovia, where he served as COO; prior to which he was CEO of digital ad server and supply-side provider AdJuggler. Earlier, he spent thirteen years at marketing and sales performance consultancy MarketBridge, in several roles including P&L management of the firm's worldwide consulting group, launch and development of its analytics business, and leadership of the technology industry practice. During his career, Shomaker has also served as MD of Dome Capital, and held senior roles at Arthur Anderson, Accenture and Goldman Sachs.

In his new position, he will use open-source and proprietary statistical data sources to expand the company's analytic and intelligence solutions, while extending the offer to predictive data.
