Criteo Expands to India

Paris-based ad targeting and retargeting specialist Criteo has opened an office in New Delhi, where it has appointed Ajeet Kandachar as Managing Director of India.

Ajeet KandacharCriteo now has 31 offices around the world, seven of which are in the Asia Pacific region. The company uses predictive software combined with insights into consumer intent and purchasing habits, to deliver targeted ads in real time. Last year, it acquired DataPop - a US firm which tailors online ads to each consumer based on their demographics, location and intent.

Kandachar (pictured) joins from Internet marketing company Vizury, where he was SVP Revenue, Partnerships & Strategic Alliances, responsible for growing the business throughout Asia Pacific. His experience also includes various sales and business development positions in India.
