MR Training 'Portal' Launched

US-based MR training provider Research Rockstar has claimed a first by launching a 24/7 training 'portal' for market research professionals, giving access to courses, media content and expert instructors.

The company offers courses covering more than 25 topics via a real-time, instructor-led virtual classroom, and says that in its eight-year life to date over 1,800 students have participated. Courses are qual and quant and range from Client Management Skills for Market Researchers to MaxDiff & Discrete Choice.

Founder and lead instructor Kathryn Korostoff says the new portal-based offering is the market research profession's 'first managed learning program', adding: 'We want our students to have 24/7 access to training programs and educational material'.

From the end of this week all currently registered students will be transitioned to the learning portal, which gives them access to live session links, class recordings, homework assignments, a homework submission center, test results, and instructors. For groups, student participation and progress reports are included. A free 3-week trial is available of the firm's new Backstage Pass program.
