FocusVision Names Lead Research Strategist

In the US, research technology and services group FocusVision has appointed former Added Value SVP Zoë Dowling as Lead Research Strategist.

Zoë DowlingThe company was founded in 1990 as a provider of live video transmissions of qualitative research, since when it has acquired Qualvu and its qual intelligence platform 24Tru, Research Reporter developer Insight Marketing Systems, quant MR tech firm Decipher, research tool developer Revelation Global and MR video streaming firm ActiveGroup. At the end of last year, its management team bought the company with the assistance of private equity group EQT.

Dowling (pictured) joins with more than seventeen years' Internet and mobile research, with an emphasis on respondent engagement and online/off-line qual approaches. Most recently, she was SVP, Global Mobile Capability Leader at WPP's brand development and insight consultancy Added Value, where she worked for the past nine years. She joined the firm in 2007, working with the Communications Optimization team as Senior Project Director, before serving as VP, R&D & Offer Innovation. During her tenure, she also participated in Kantar-wide initiatives, including web and mobile research within developed and emerging markets.

Dowling will now lead FocusVision's new Research Strategist Group, and represent the company at industry speaking engagements and educational opportunities.
