Former GE Exec Launches Market Intelligence Service

GE veteran Anoop Bhatia has launched a market intelligence company, Nowigence, offering real-time dashboard access to tailored, sector-based summaries of news culled from nearly three million news items each day.

Nowigence's subscription-based platform scans items from more than 50,000 published sources and extracts information about users' competitors, customers and suppliers, according to their industry. Information is classified by key topics such as product supply and demand, competition, customer sentiment, pricing and regulatory.

Bhatia, who is President & CEO of the new company, brings more than twenty years' cross-functional experience from global GE businesses, including Momentive (formerly GE Silicones), and was a member of a business start-up team in India for GE in 1993.

CTO Michael McCreary, who was previously President and COO of Rational Enterprise, has two decades of experience developing software solutions in areas including machine learning and artificial intelligence. He previously spent twelve years in R&D at Pfizer.
