Hearst Promotes for New Senior Research Role

US media firm Hearst Television has promoted Kevin Stuart to the new position of Vice President, Research.

Hearst Television promotes senior researcherStuart has served as Corporate Research Director since 2012, based in New York and overseeing audience analysis and research across the group's 30 TV stations. Prior to this, he worked in senior research positions at Hearst's four Florida TV stations, including Orlando, West Palm Beach and Tampa; and before joining Hearst he combined roles as Director of Research and a weathercaster at WKBW-TV in Buffalo. Earlier in his career he worked at WBRE-TV in Northeastern Pennsylvania; KATC-TV in Lafayette, LA; in reporting and other roles for radio stations; and as Senior Research Consultant for the Franco Research Group.

A graduate of the University of Louisiana, he serves as Chair of the National Association of Broadcasters' Committee on Local Television Audience Measurement (COLTAM); and sits on the board of directors of the Media Rating Council (MRC), and the Nielsen Policy Guidelines Committee.
