ZappiStore Gets £12m to Pursue Automated MR 'Vision'

Automated MR platform ZappiStore has raised £12m from Amsterdam-based venture capital firm Prime Ventures, which specialises in European tech companies.

ZappiStore says the strategic capital will allow it to further scale its product offering and 'to lead the automated market research market on a global level'. Existing investors include Kantar.

The platform was launched in 2013 by Stephen Philips (pictured), who says of the latest investment: 'This fundraising will help us achieve our vision of automating the world of market research. We have found a partner in Prime that knows our industry and is committed to helping us achieve that vision'. Monish Suri, Partner at Prime Ventures, says his company 'knows the industry well through previous investments and immediately saw the potential for major disruption that ZappiStore offers', adding: 'We are excited about helping them scale their vision globally'.
