Toluna Hires and Moves Boost US and ANZ Teams

In the US, Toluna has hired Marco Pasqualina as VP of Sales, and Mark Daniel as VP of Digital Solutions. In addition, Stephen Walker and Filippo Sablchiero have relocated from the UK, to take up business development roles in the Australia/New Zealand market.

Marco Pasqualina, Mark Daniel and Stephen WalkerPasqualina previously held sales growth positions at UBMobile, MetrixLab, MarketTools and Nielsen, and will now lead Toluna's reseller channel strategy from the firm's Wilton, CT office. Daniel joins with a background in online community sales, including senior roles at Vision Critical, Passenger and C-Space. In his new position, based in the Dallas office, Daniel will lead Toluna's Digital Product Sales division.

In addition to the new hires, the company has promoted Patricia Chapin Bayley to Vice President, Head of Enterprise Solutions in the Wilton, CT office. She has ten years' experience at Toluna in the US and UK, having previously held leadership positions running account groups in the Media, Market Research and Healthcare divisions. Mark Simon, MD North America, says the new hires 'ensure that Toluna remains the industry's true pioneer, providing clients with real-time digital insight'.

Walker takes up the position of Business Director for Toluna Australia and New Zealand, having previously served as an Account Director for Toluna in the UK, and earlier worked for Mintel. His new role is based in Auckland, where he is tasked with leading the growth of the business across the region. Commenting on the appointment, Ludo Milet, MD of Toluna APAC, said: 'Steve comes to the APAC team with an extensive commercial expertise from a bigger market. He has shown excellent records with us in London and is highly praised by the UK management team. I am very comfortable thinking the same will happen in Australia and New Zealand'.

Finally, Sablchiero has moved to the Sydney office, where he will serve as Senior Manager - Business Development Australia and New Zealand. He joined the firm in London in 2012, and most recently worked in an Account Director role, managing a large client portfolio including key accounts.
