Interpret Hires for New Unit, Promotes Cai to President

Entertainment, media and tech specialist Interpret LLC has promoted Michael Cai to President, overseeing all company divisions; hired Grant Robb as SVP / GM of a newly created Brand Consulting Group; and appointed Diane LightWaight as VP of Sales / Client Service.

Cai, formerly the company's SVP of Research for Games and Digital has spent the last eight years at Interpret, and previously worked for Parks Associates. CEO Grant Johnson says the moves reflect a philosophy of 'retaining and empowering smart people'. Johnson says Cai's promotion was 'an easy decision', explaining: 'Michael is a demonstrated leader in media, entertainment and technology consulting, has a global perspective, and is one of the hardest-working (and nicest) executives I know'.

Of the two hires, Johnson comments: 'Grant Robb is a phenomenal hire for Interpret, and significantly deepens our senior bench strength while also allowing us to extend our brand consulting services into new verticals...
