IQS Buys Insight Community Provider MRevolution

Polish market research company IQS has acquired MRevolution, a specialist insight community provider. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Launched in 2012, Warsaw-based MRevolution sets up panels to assist with both qual and quant research. The company is a Vision Critical certified partner, and provides its clients with assistance in setting up their own communities, while offering community management, project management and system training services. IQS, which is part of media and marketing services group Mediacap SA, says the transaction will enable it to partner with Vision Critical across Central and Eastern Europe. Alina Lempa, President of the IQS Board, says the move is another step in IQS' strategy to enhance its data segmentation offer.

Dinko Svetopetric, MD of MRevolution, is leaving the company to 'pursue new opportunities'. He adds: 'IQS is an innovative market research provider, its depth of experience will provide new strength for the insight communities business. I am certain that IQS and Vision Critical will succeed in providing insight communities to many more clients across the CEE'.
