MFour To Add 'At Least 77' Roles under New Tax Deal

In the US, mobile-first research tech company MFour has received $680k in tax credits from California's state government, contingent on the firm creating at least 77 full-time staff positions in the region over the next five years.

MFour Links Staff Expansion to Tax CreditsBased in Newport Beach, California, MFour uses GPS technology to collect information at the 'point of emotion'; and offers the Surveys On The Go app, which provides access to an all-mobile panel. The firm has just received $5m in funding, which it will use to launch new mobile ad measurement products, with more than $2m dedicated to marketing its MFourDIY platform; and to expand internationally and scale staff levels. CEO and co-founder Chris St Hilaire is already expecting his team to grow to more than 100 by the end of the second quarter of 2017.

Through the 'California Competes' tax credits initiative, MFour anticipates it will exceed the state job creation target prior to the 2021 deadline. 'Job growth flows naturally from our strength as the pioneers who are transforming market research. We're toppling an entrenched online research model that no longer works. The economic benefits will naturally ripple through our industry and our community', St Hilaire adds.
