Saxo Bank Names New Chief Experience Officer

Denmark's Saxo Bank has appointed former McKinsey exec Arnoud Roxendaal as Chief Experience Officer (CXO), responsible for the firm's global user experience strategies across marketing, digital, PR and external communications, and competitive intelligence.

Arnoud RoxendaalRoxendaal (pictured) joins from McKinsey & Company in Amsterdam, where he served as Digital Consultant, helping European eCommerce web sites, market places and online classified web sites with their growth strategies, online marketing, conversion-optimization and digital transformation. Before this, he co-founded tech start-up Calendar42, and fashion company Plakkies.

In his new role, Roxendaal replaces Philip Wegloop, who has left the bank after two years. Commenting on the appointment, Global COO Søren Kyhl said: 'Over the past years, we have optimized our client experience and digital marketing significantly. To take the next leap forward, we are very pleased to have Arnoud lead our efforts in upgrading the cross-value chain Saxo Experience. Arnoud not only has a strong vision for digital growth but he also has the practical tools and leadership skills necessary to implement that transformation'.
