Dentsu Aegis Hires for New Isobar SVP Data & Tech Role

Dentsu Aegis Network's full service digital marketing agency Isobar has hired Vikalp Tandon for its newly created position of Senior Vice President Data & Technology.

Isobar brings together a range of strategists, creatives, storytellers, designers, technologists and producers, who offer product and service design capabilities. Last year, the firm partnered with sister agencies Copernicus Marketing and Forbes Consulting Group to form its Marketing Intelligence Practice, which taps in to the latest resources for consumer insights to understand and forecast consumer behavior. Isobar also launched a fast-turnaround version of its proprietary neuroscience product MindSight, designed to help understand the emotions used to decode complex human responses.

Tandon (pictured) joins with more than fifteen years' experience in technical design and development. Most recently he worked at digital transformation specialist Sapient Razorfish as VP and Global Strategy Lead, before which, he spent fourteen years at the firm's marketing, and technology services business SapientNitro, where he latterly served as VP, US East Practice Head, supporting the Customer Engagement Platforms practice.

In his new Boston-based role, Tandon will be responsible for expanding Isobar's data and technology consulting offering globally, by working with the multi-disciplinary teams across Isobar's 45 markets, and with the technology consulting teams at Isobar US, APAC, Brazil and EMEA. He will report to Global CEO Jean Lin, who comments: 'The US is the world's largest technology market where Isobar has a strong consulting base, which complements Vikalp's deep understanding of both the global and US technology space. In the process of brands driving change, the balance of time-to-market and quality is important, and Vikalp's global technology consulting and delivery experience will add tremendous value to that journey.'
