Healthcare Specialist OMR Globus Hires Ops Director

In the UK, full-service pharma/healthcare MR firm OMR Globus has appointed former SERMO excec David Chikashua as Operations Director.

Headquartered in Toronto, the firm captures feedback from healthcare professions in Canada, the US, Germany, Spain, Italy, the UK, France and a few smaller EU markets. As well as providing access to panels of healthcare professionals, the firm offers both full-service and sample-only multi-country research.

Chikashua (pictured) joins from healthcare research and online physician community provider SERMO/WorldOne in Lithuania, where he worked for the past nine years. Most recently he was Head of MR Procurement, EMEA, implementing changes in fieldwork resourcing management function, planned HR, drafting process workflow, developing procedures and advising IT engineers on internal software system requirements. Earlier, he led the firm's online healthcare panel building operations.

In his new role, Chikashua will oversee the Project Management team, whilst working closely with panel management, client services and finance departments. COO and co-founder Ian Oxbury comments: 'It's great to have someone of David's experience on board at a time of continued rapid growth'.
