POSSIBLE's Atchison and Burby Join BI Firm Domo

In the US, business data visualization specialist Domo has hired two former leaders of WPP digital marketing agency POSSIBLE. Shane Atchison, former global CEO of POSSIBLE, becomes CMO of Domo, while POSSIBLE Americas President Jason Burby joins as Chief Customer Success Officer.

Shane Atchison and Jason BurbyDomo was established in 2011 by Josh James, the co-founder of web analytics firm Omniture, and helps users manage, analyze, and share business data across their organizations - allowing non-technical users to create visualizations that users can interact with and share through multiple channels.

Atchison joins with more than 25 years' ad and digital marketing experience. As POSSIBLE CEO for the past five years, he oversaw the acquisition and integration of more than seven firms, while serving as Global Client Lead for WPP's Microsoft business. In 1998, he co-founded analytic, search and marketing science solutions agency Zaaz, which was merged with POSSIBLE in 2012. Burby worked for Zaaz as Director of Web Analytics and later, Chief Analytics & Optimization Officer, before moving into his role at POSSIBLE. The pair have also co-authored two books on digital strategy: 'Actionable Web Analytics: Using Data to Make Smart Business Decisions' and 'Does it Work? 10 Principles for Delivering True Business Value'.

Commenting on the appointments, James said: 'I've known Shane and Jason since the Omniture days and they were the most progressive and like-minded agency partners with whom we ever worked. Shane and Jason have always understood that when it comes to digital businesses, it's not really about the data - it's what you do with the data that is important. As we help organizations realize the new way to work, the expertise that Shane and Jason bring will add tremendous value to our business and to the business of our customers'.
