Former Google Exec Joins New KPMG Business

Professional services firm KPMG Australia has hired former Google exec Lisa Bora for its Brand & Marketing advisory business, launched following the recent acquisition of Sydney-based Acuity Research and Insights.

Lisa BoraSet up last month, the new business has a combined team of 46 specialists, including seven Partners, and will work closely with the UK-based KPMG Nunwood Customer Experience Excellence Centre. Its suite of services includes customer experience strategy and design, customer insights, and transformation of sales, marketing, products and services.

Bora (pictured) joins to head KPMG's Sales Transformation practice, after working for Google as Industry Leader - Mobile & New Business Development, for Australia and New Zealand. Earlier, she served as Marketing Director at News Corporation's newspaper The Australian; Group Marketing Director at Voyages Hotels & Resorts; and Manager of Marketing Strategy & Operations at Quantas Holidays.

In her new role, starting on August 28th, Bora will lead KPMG's Sales Transformation consulting team, focusing on areas such as data integration, full marketing and sales supply chain reviews, and reviews of loyalty programs and customer service. Paul Howes, Partner in Charge of the new business, comments: 'Lisa specialises in adapting organisations' sales and marketing strategies though digital disruption and organisational change.
