Keli Launches 'Winston' Video Analysis Tool

Video-first social media company The Keli Network has launched a video analysis tool called Winston, with the aim of increasing engagement with the company's content.

Michael PhilippeWith offices in New York and Paris, the firm distributes video content through its owned brands including Gamology, OhMyGoal, and Beauty Studio, as well as 'natively' across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Snapchat. In the month of August, it achieved 1.9 billion video views in all.

Powered by AI, the new Winston tool looks at audience metrics, retention and drop-off, shares, views, likes and comments; and benchmarks against previous content. As well as analysing these specific attributes, it provides a ranking of the overall video and offers suggestions on how and where improvements can be made. As part of the creative process, Winston taps into Keli's proprietary trend identification technology to alert content creators when a specific topic is going viral. Creators can then use Winton's insights to ensure video themes and subject matter are relevant and timely. Once video production is complete, Winston provides insights on performance, and delivers recommendations on how to further optimize the content.

CEO and co-founder Michael Philippe (pictured) comments: 'Winston is a particularly beneficial component of Keli's service offering because our content creators are first and foremost enthusiasts about their category, not necessarily data analysts or video experts. Winston is both, and the AI can provide our creators with the ongoing consultation they need to consistently produce great, sharable videos'.
