Product Specialist Pivot Merged with UX Agency MadeByPi

In the UK, recently launched digital product consultancy Pivot has merged with full-service digital user experience (UX) agency MadeByPi. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Launched earlier this year by former Freshminds exec Chris Leo (pictured), London-based Pivot focuses on speed of service, promising to 'pinpoint user pain, solve it quickly and measure results in two weeks'. London and Leeds-based MadeByPi has a team of consumer researchers, strategists, creatives and technologists who work with brands to deliver solutions that drive engagement, retention and revenue growth.

Pivot says the merger adds UX designers, insight consultants and software developers to its in-house team. Leo adds: 'It's an exciting time for our industry. Digital innovation is reshaping how agencies deliver and sell - the recent GfK restructure is a good example of that. Clients are demanding full-service digital solutions that are quick and cost-effective. We're now providing that all under one roof'.
