M3 Global Buys Sweden's QQFS
Healthcare data collection firm M3 Global Research has acquired Gothenburg, Sweden-based healthcare specialist QQFS for an undisclosed sum.
 Founded in 1999 by the late Emma Kverh, QQFS (Qualitative & Quantitative Fieldwork Services) offers a panel focused on the Nordics, Benelux, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe, providing clients in these regions with in-depth and consultative data collection services for the pharmaceutical, healthcare and life sciences sectors. The firm's call centre covers seventeen languages and consists of more than 60 recruiters and interviewers; while its qual department provides in-house moderation as well as simultaneous translation, report writing and analysis. In addition, the firm offers access to a Nordic Viewpoint viewing facility, based in Västra Frölunda.
M3 Global Research says the deal complements its own offering across Europe, Asia Pacific and The Americas. The firm will use QQFS's existing management teams' infrastructure knowledge of the region, to provide uninterrupted coverage to existing customers from both organizations. QQFS will continue under its name as a subsidiary of M3, with its team led by Elsa Andersson, who oversees operations and compliance; and Alexandra Benoist, who is in charge of business development.
