New Guiding Lights for Northstar
Northstar Research Partners has promoted Toronto-based Jeffrey Histed to the role of CEO, replacing Craig Binkley; and promoted London-based Matthew Sell to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer.
 The company, which employs more than 50, also has offices in New York.
Sell founded Northstar's London office in 2001 and has since served as UK Managing Director, responsible for developing the company's international presence. The office opened a new Insights practice in 2013, led by Noah Roychowdhury and with a remit to broaden its offering.
Histed was a founding member of the company, and has more than 25 years of experience in consumer insights and 'cultural discovery'.
Sell says the two promotions 'represent greater collaboration from our offices where all our clients globally will benefit from the shared talent and expertise across our business as we continue to deliver best-in-class insight and best-in-class insight communication'.
