Adobe Hires Former Experian Exec as ANZ MD

Software giant Adobe has appointed former Experian ex Suzanne Steel as Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand. She will join in late November.

Suzanne SteeleSince its original focus on multimedia and creativity software products, Adobe has launched a number of products, to understand and target audiences. These include TV Media Management (TVMM), which allows advertisers to use viewer preferences and attributes to drive audience-based targeting; Sensei, which use machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) for text and sentiment analysis, audience targeting and segmentation; and Intelligence Location Marketing, allowing companies to engage their customers with relevant content and messages based on their proximity to iBeacons.

Steele (pictured) joins from information services giant Experian, where she worked for twelve years, initially as SVP, Global Product Management & Strategy (Data, Analytics & Data Quality), and latterly as MD, ANZ. Before this, she worked for behavioral insights firm Beyond Analysis as Group Managing Partner, and earlier in her career she was Operations Manager at NOP-owned Pinpoint Analysis.

In her new role Steele will replace Chris Skelton, who is leaving the company. She will report to Paul Robson, President of Adobe Asia Pacific, who comments: 'Adobe ANZ is at the forefront of a market where no industry is immune from digital disruption. Suzanne brings extensive experience to our committed team; she is a customer-centric leader who understands the importance of client relationships to competitive differentiation and growth'.
