Crimson Hexagon Expands Leadership Team

In the US, social media monitoring and analysis firm Crimson Hexagon has extended its executive leadership team with the appointments of Lou Jordano and Bud McGann, and the promotion of Dana Miller.

Crimson Hexagon's platform is powered by patented technology and an in-house data library said to contain more than one trillion social media posts, and aims to provide clients with insights to answer business questions. Jordano joins as SVP and Chief Marketing Officer, with more than twenty years' experience of building and leading teams within global enterprises. Most recently, he was CMO at natural language processing and machine learning analytics specialist Attivio. Prior to this he served as CMO and led business development for web content management system Ektron, and held marketing leadership positions at TIBCO Software and EMC Corporation.

McGann joins as Chief Revenue Officer and SVP of Global Sales, with a background that includes more than twenty years' experience in software sales. Most recently, he was CRO of cloud-based analytics app developer Tidemark Systems, before which he held senior leadership positions at SuccessFactors, which was acquired by SAP in 2012. In his new role, he will manage the sales organization, while designing the company's revenue generation strategy.

Miller has worked for the company since 2013. She now takes on the role of Chief Customer Officer, responsible for the end-to-end customer experience and overall retention of clients, in addition to her existing position as SVP of Client Services. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at Percussion Software, 80/20 Solutions and Xerox.
