Thomson Reuters Debuts Data Viz Tool for Lawyers
Elite, the legal products division of business information provider Thomson Reuters, has unveiled a new analysis and visualization package for law firms, allowing them to spot trends as they happen, view forecasts, and create interactive reports and dashboards on any device.
'3E Data Insights from Thomson Reuters Elite' combines a feature-rich self-service data warehouse console with Microsoft's cloud-based analytics service Power BI, and the division's existing 3E Workspace platform. A new version of the latter is also launched, giving access to a range of Elite solutions and third-party products from both desktops and mobile devices.
Elite MD Eric Ruud says the legal industry is undergoing a cultural shift in its acceptance of the cloud, and comments: 'It's been gratifying to see the interest customers have in these new tools. Two years ago, we announced our intent to offer cloud-based versions of our products and I'm proud that we are able to offer flexible, powerful and feature-rich tools like 3E Data Insights that simply would not be possible without cloud technology'.
