Taptica Hires Matomy Co-founder Ofer Druker

Israel-based mobile ad platform Taptica has appointed Matomy co-founder Ofer Druker as Executive Chairman of Tremor Video DSP, its wholly-owned subsidiary for video advertising optimisation and attribution. He will join the company next year.

Taptica's proprietary technology uses big data and machine learning for media targeting at scale. Tremor Video, acquired by Taptica in August, uses data partnerships to help ad buyers target consumers cross-screen, while providing metrics on viewer numbers, brand 'safety' and audience targeting. Druker (pictured) will join the Tremor headquarters in New York with nearly twenty years' industry experience, most recently from data-driven online ad company Matomy Media Group, which he co-founded in 2007. Before this, he held senior roles at Soho Digital International, and Cydoor Desktop Media.

In his new position, Druker will work with Taptica's CEO Hagai Tal, focusing on the group's M&A strategy and growth; while for Tremor, Druker will work on data partnerships, expanding into further global markets, and engaging with the supply side segment.
