MFour Hires Former Instantly Director Carl Nielson

US-based mobile-first research tech company MFour has hired former Instantly director Carl Nielson as Senior Solutions Executive. In addition, Ayelet Germanski joins as Senior Project Manager, and Nicole Phan as User Experience Designer.

Carl NielsonMFour uses GPS technology to collect information at what it calls the 'point of emotion'; and has developed the Surveys On The Go app, providing access to an all-mobile panel. In addition, the firm's MFourDIY tool taps into a panel of more than one million respondents and allows users to design, program and launch their own surveys. Last year, the company added features to its DIY technology to enable users to reach respondents based on the apps they use, the make and model of their smartphones, and other characteristics.

Nielson (pictured) joins in Charleston, South Carolina, to provide guidance on mobile-app research to East Coast clients. He was previously Director of Mobile Research at engagement and marketing platform SessionM, and Director of Mobile Research Solutions at research technology company Instantly (formerly known as uSamp and now part of SSI). Earlier, he worked for mobile survey tech provider OnePoint Global as Director for the Americas.

Germanski joins after working as a psychologist and then leading projects at startups including Tungsten Revenue Consultants. Phan earned a degree in Cognitive Science with a specialization in human-computer interaction, then worked on patient care systems at Mirth and financial solutions at Intuit.
