Headcount Grows at ResearchBods

Leeds, UK-based agency ResearchBods has announced ten recent hires, including half a dozen additions to its in-house development and operations team as it looks to meet increased demand for its insight and behavioural tracking tools.

TarynResearchBods was established in 2011 by Robin Hilton and Jonathan Clough, and offers three key solutions: Insight Communities, Access Panels and Experience & Journey programmes. The company is growing both staff - ten new 'Bods' were added in the first quarter of this year; and revenue - by 55% so far this year, the firm says, with every chance of beating its ambitious target of £4.8m turnover for this financial year.

Many of the new hires are intended to support Dave Naylor, appointed last year as Chief Technical Officer. Andrew Kay, formerly Operations Analyst at Sungard Availability Services, joins as IT & Infrastructure Manager and will help the move to a fully scalable redundant solution for all projects running on the latest cloud-based technologies. Meanwhile Alina Dracopol, previously a Test Lead at Sky Betting & Gaming, joins as Senior Test Analyst, taking full responsibility for overall QA strategy.

Also joining the development and operations team are Jamie Peterson as Data Analyst, Andy Nolan as Data Executive, Steph Harper as Junior Data Executive, and Vonnie Voong as Junior Application Developer.

Other recent appointments have boosted client relations and marketing capabilities: Peter Strachan as Client Services Manager, Adam Simpson as Account Manager, Lucy Alexander as Community Manager, and Taryn Moss as Marketing Manager.

Clough says of the expansion: 'Our vision is to continually upgrade traditional research techniques, producing quicker, deeper and more impactful insights. Having the right in-house team of experts allows us to offer best in class, highly tailored solutions to clients, ensuring that we contribute towards business change. We have some very exciting advancements to focus on in the next few months and expect to see further growth in the development team to support this'.
