Launch of Pharma Specialist Porterhouse Insights

Scientific and medical communications network Porterhouse Medical Group has launched a research division, Porterhouse Insights. Fabrice Allum, previously of Double Helix Discovery and McCann Health, joins to lead it as Managing Director.

The new division is billed as a strategic research, insight and evidence consultancy for global biopharmaceutical companies, and will offer expertise in identifying unmet needs; market understanding; scenario planning and demand estimation; patient journey mapping; and pricing, among other areas.

Allum spent three years at Phoenix International Research; five at RI; and the last sixteen at Double Helix Development, at first as a Board Director and throughout as MD of the Discovery unit. For the last year the company has been part of Consulting at McCann Health.

Joint Group MD Jon Hallows says of the launch: 'Agencies that can identify challenges and provide tangible solutions to clients in a nimble and agile manner will be the agencies of the future. At Porterhouse Medical, we believe we can offer smarter medical communications by leveraging these research and insight services, as well as providing focused strategies through Porterhouse Insights as a stand-alone practice in its own right, with collaboration at the heart of what we do internally and externally'. He adds: 'From the very beginning, the conversations Fabrice and I had clearly converged in terms of our values and what we might be able to do together for our pharma clients'.
