nuaxia Names Privacy and Compliance Officer

Healthcare sector MR, marketing services, recruitment and information services provider nuaxia has hired former All Global COO Hilary Fischer for a newly created role, Privacy and Compliance Officer.

The firm was set up in 2016 by former Synovate UK CEO Peter Chopra, with £1m in seed funding. Last summer, it launched a Video Interviewing service, promising clients access to both its one million members, and any other individual in its profiled healthcare database of 5.5 million people, which includes patients physicians, and other healthcare professionals. It then expanded to the US, appointing former Medefield exec Brendan Egan as President, North America.

Fischer (pictured), who currently runs her own MR industry advisory firm in the US, is an industry veteran with more than twenty years' experience in healthcare market research. Most recently, she worked for SHC as Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer, having previously been COO, USA of All Global (now known as Lightspeed Health); VP of Global Operations for Kantar Health; and VP, Director of Research Logistics for Ziment, where she worked for more than a decade. She also serves as Director of Chapter Engagement for US-based industry body the Insights Association.
