Key European Appointment for NPD
Retail information firm The NPD Group has appointed Muriel Lecomte as SVP in Europe leading Operations Client Service, New Initiatives & Development, Product Development & Management, and Research Science.
 Beginning on March 6th, she will be based in Paris and will report to Gerhard Hausruckinger, Group President for Europe and APAC, who joined in September. Lecomte brings more than 25 years of industry experience, most recently from Kantar where she was COO of the Insight Division, leading the restructure of the Operations team and the planning and implementation of strategies in mobile, social and search. Before this she was SVP, Global Business Development at BVA, and earlier she held a number of senior roles during mo0re than a decade at Nielsen.
Stanley Kee, recently appointed MD of MPD's APAC business, based in Singapore, also reports to Hausruckinger.
The former GfK leader says of Lecomte's appointment: 'Muriel comes with a wealth of experience in statistics, analytics, commercial development, operations management, and product innovation.
