QuestionPro Launches GDPR-Ready Survey Settings

US-based online survey software provider QuestionPro has launched 'GDPR-ready' survey and insights settings, which it claims will ensure users' data collection and other research processes comply with the new rules for EU citizens.

Vivek BhaskaranQuestionPro offers tools for creation, distribution and analysis of surveys, as well as a platform for polling, tablet-based mobile research and data visualization. Its new settings address the needs of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which will come into force on May 25th and govern the general use and privacy of EU citizens' data.

The firm says its new software will enable GDPR compliance for all client accounts on EU servers by default, with coverage of areas such as the use of data for research purposes only, the right to be forgotten, and language/data server preferences and settings.

CEO Vivek Bhaskaran (pictured) comments: 'GDPR compliance is a very serious issue for our trusted EU, transnational, and non-profit partners. Implementation is our customers' greatest worry and we've ensured our solution addresses those concerns. Our GDPR-ready settings will allow our customers to continue collecting survey responses without the fear of fines at either an organization or survey level'.
