ORC Promotes Winston in Reshuffle

In the UK, full service agency ORC International has streamlined its organisational structure, promoting Sally Winston to the role of Global Head of Employee Research (ER). Kate Pritchard, who previously led the ER practice, left recently to 'pursue new ventures'.

The firm is part of marcoms network Engine Group, and offers a range of custom employee, market and strategy research. Former Deputy MD Rory MacNeill, who initially set up the UK ER business and latterly led technology solutions, left at the end of last year after more than 31 years with the business. Pritchard, who also left at the end of the year, spent seventeen years at the company and is currently looking for her next career opportunity.

The restructure follows and supports the recent launch of a strategy to help create 'winning workplaces and differentiated experiences'. Winston, who joined the ER division as a graduate in 2000, will head up the Private Sector ER business, in addition to her ongoing responsibilities to develop the 'winning workplace' offer. She also recently led a drive to create a series of new technology-based services, including an 'innovative manager tool' to support change at a local level, and an analyst tool to for central decision making.

Meanwhile, Seema Shah continues as Head of the Public-Sector ER business, and on the customer research side of the business, Kalina Janevska has been promoted to Director of Consumer and Business Strategies. All three report to MD Richard Cornelius, who comments: 'I am delighted to have three such enthusiastic, experienced, and talented individuals in place to lead the charge for the new mission.
