Smarty Pants Finds Ms Wright for Comms Lead Role

In New York, youth and family research specialist Smarty Pants has appointed Alyssa Wright to guide its communications strategy and direct brand-building.

Alyssa WrightWith the title of Media Maven, Wright will drive tactics across digital, print, and in-person promotion, and will also oversee the company's syndicated research products.

She joins from telecoms firm HTC where she was a Marketing Analyst, responsible for growing business solutions and security products. Earlier she spent four years at Advance America as a customer communications specialist; worked on the editorial team at Meredith's Fitness magazine; and was a digital media marketer at Eastman Chemical Company.

Wright is based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is completing an MBA and holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and accounting from East Tennessee State University's College of Business and Technology.
