Lexalytics Launches Regional and Romanian Capabilities

US text analytics firm Lexalytics has added an option for clients to choose whether their data is processed in Australia, the EU or the US; and has added native language analysis for Romanian.

Lexalytics offers two main platforms for sentiment analytics, the on-premise Salience and the SaaS Semantria, for use chiefly in social media monitoring, reputation management and voice of the customer programs. Following the recent implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe, the company has launched a region selection capability, giving users of Semantria API, Semantria for Excel, and Semantria Storage and Visualization products who operate in the region a one-click option to choose where they have their text data processed.

The firm has also added Romanian to its native language support, providing brands with insights into conversations that the more than 20 million speakers of the language are having about their products and services.
