Senior Hires for Egg Strategy

Boulder, CO-based consultancy Egg Strategy Inc. has added three senior leaders in its New York City office, including new MD Jennifer Sagawa; with two further appointments in the Boulder and Chicago offices.

Jennifer SagawaSagawa (pictured) joins as MD of the NYC office, bringing more than twenty years' experience of leading internal innovation and product design departments on the client side, as well as guiding strategic innovation teams for global consultancies. In her new role, she is charged with creating tangible value for clients through building impactful strategies, pipelines and organizations. Company co-founder and CEO Christopher Wilshire comments: 'Jen is an amazing strategist and culture-builder for the Egg business and our clients. With her deep experience tackling some of the most complex innovation challenges, she brings the calm and cool demeanor of someone unphased by the messy process of going from idea to execution'.

Jennifer Straussburger joins the office as a Senior Director, based in the Health team, and has worked on teams at Clear, Novo Nordisk, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Biolumina in a variety of marketing and strategy positions. Egg President Matthew Singer welcomes her 'innate ability to help clients to unlock growth potential for their brands and businesses by uncovering bold, human truths that help inspire strategy and innovation at every phase of development'. Jonathan Schumann joins the office as a Director, with eight years of strategy and insight experience, mostly in the alcohol, media and technology spaces. He is described by Singer as 'a passionate explorer and experienced storyteller driven by a deep desire to understand the 'why' behind culture and behavior'.

Michael Chiasson joins Egg as a Director on the Quant Team in Boulder, having worked previously for MMA, Polaroid, Gillette, P&G, and most recently WhiteWave Foods. His focuses include creating efficiencies, improving ROI on research and developing data-driven, decision-enabling strategies for clients. Julia Goldhammer, who also takes the role of Director on the Quant team, arrives in the Chicago office from Leo Burnett where she has spent more than a dozen years. Before this she was a political consultant with the Mellman Group and Wilhelm & Conlon. Goldhammer is described as 'a results-driven critical thinker and quantitative storyteller who has used analytics to build roadmaps for sustainable growth for some of the world's most respected global brands'.

Egg provides strategic consumer research, brand building, product and category innovation, and marketing consulting services in three client verticals - CPG, Health and Lifestyle - and employs close to 70 people. Its pioneering work in digital ethnography included the launch in 2011 of a tool gathering data from iPhones and Android devices to analyse real-time consumer behaviour, emotions and opinion.
