New Senior Team for Isentia

Australia-based media intelligence and measurement firm Isentia, whose long-term CEO left earlier this year, has announced three more appointments to its executive leadership team:
Paul Russell as CTO, Kelly Young as CHRO and Peter McClelland as CFO.

Ed HarrisonIsentia says the appointments follow an extensive search and are designed to accelerate product enhancement and operational efficiencies, and support ongoing transformation.

John Croll announced in February that he would resign in the summer after eighteen years leading the company and its predecessor Media Monitors. The role was filled in August by former Yahoo7 Chief Exec Ed Harrison. Croll had seen the company through several years of expansion across Asia before enduring a difficult year in 2017 after the collapse of its recently acquired King Content business.

Harrison (pictured) says the new leadership will bring fresh perspectives to the business: 'The demand for media intelligence continues to grow in size and complexity. We want to move faster and meet the evolving needs of our clients through innovation, and to do that, we need a strong leadership team that can bring all the pieces together. We're delighted to have secured such high-quality talent, bringing a broad range of skills, business acumen and industry experience that will be critical to our future success'.

Russell follows Harrison from Yahoo7 where he was CTO at Yahoo7, and previously held a number of CIO and technology leadership roles at companies including Salmat, Network Ten and Fairfax Digital.

Young worked most recently at Bauer Media as People and Culture Director, and earlier in her career held senior HR roles in various divisions at Fairfax Media. She joins in January.

McClelland joins in February from Velocity Frequent Flyers where he was CFO, and previously held roles as CFO and COO at out-of-home advertising company oOh! Media and CFO at Luxottica Group. He replaced James Orlando, who announced his resignation in July.
