Gongos Promotes for CFO and Chief People Officer Roles

US-based research agency Gongos has named Debie Pomorski Chief Financial Officer and Cheryl Halverson as Chief People Officer.

Gongos specializes in helping cross-functional teams gain and apply consumer insights, convert decisions into action, and manage organizational change. Last year, the firm relocated its HQ to Royal Oak, Michigan and focused on realigning its 'people system', since when it says it has experienced 13% growth in both its revenue and employee base.

Since joining in 2012, Pomorski has served as VP, Finance & Administration, and she is now responsible for the management of the company's finances, forecasting and financial reporting, banking and insurance, contract negotiation and legal oversight, as well as building operations and expansion. She was instrumental in organizing the company's move to Royal Oak and office redesign, and she sits on the firm's leadership team, as well as its Gongos Gives team dedicated to giving back to the community.

Halverson, who has served as the company's VP, People Development & Planning since 2014, will now drive the company's people strategy including talent attraction, retention and development. She joined the firm in 1998, is a member of the leadership team and works from a home office in Milwaukee.
