Cardlytics Expands to Asia with New Office in India

US-headquartered purchase intelligence provider Cardlytics has expanded to Asia with the opening of an office in Visakhapatnam (Vizag), India, where it plans to hire approximately 80 full-time employees by the end of 2020.

Sathish Gaddipati and Manohar Reddy DendiThe firm, which is based in Atlanta, Georgia and also has operations in the UK, partners with more than 2,000 financial institutions to run banking rewards programs promoting customer loyalty. In turn, it uses data from this to analyse where and when consumers spend their money, feeding anonymised insights to marketers for measurement and targeting purposes.

In India, CTO Sathish Gaddipati will oversee the new research and development hub, with day-to-day onsite leadership managed by Manohar Reddy Dendi, Director of Engineering. Prior to joining two years ago, Gaddipati directed several global teams building data and analytics platforms at The Weather Channel, The Walt Disney Company, NCR Corporation, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Sun Microsystems, and Omnitracs. Dendi has more than eighteen years' experience in enterprise IT and software, having previously managed NCR Corporation's Managed Services division for India and APAC, worked as the Director of Business Solutions at CA Technologies, and having begun his career at Computer Associates-TCG as a Software Engineer.
