Firms Launch Index Linking Experience to Performance
Thrive Global, which aims to help people and companies improve well-being and performance, has partnered with business software firm SAP and experience management agency Qualtrics, to launch the Thrive XM Index, linking people's experience of an organization to its business performance.
Thrive Global offers companies and individuals science-based solutions to enhance both mental and physical well-being and performance, purpose and relationship with technology. The new index offers a combination of employee-reported experience information, HR-reported performance insights, and business performance data; and according to the firms, this allows companies to receive a view of the way experience metrics (X-data) and HR metrics (O-data) can collectively serve as indicators for business performance.
Participating companies will be assessed through the Thrive XM Employee Study, which is distributed to a representative sample of the company's employees to gain insights around individual employee experience and well-being in five categories: family, health, job, finances, and time. Companies will also be measured using the Thrive XM HR Study of HR-reported data and performance insights; as well as by business performance, using customer experience data such as Net Promoter Score or related data and financial results.
Arianna Huffington (pictured), founder and CEO of Thrive Global, comments: 'The employee experience is the number one driver of sustainable success. But until now, there hasn't been a way to track the overall employee experience and show how it connects directly to business performance. We're thrilled today to announce the Thrive XM Index to celebrate the companies worldwide that are investing in their own people - and in turn, setting themselves up for sustainable business success.'
