Phoenix MI Hires Long-time Nielsen Exec Michele Orlick

In the US, full-service ad and brand research specialist Phoenix Marketing International has appointed long-time Nielsen exec Michele Orlick as SVP, Networks & Media. She will be based in the firm's recently opened NYC office.

Michele OrlickFounded in 1999, the company now boasts more than 400 employees across seven offices in the US, plus Hamburg, London, Shanghai and Mexico City. Last year, it acquired Nielsen's TV Brand Effect (TVBE) assets, making it one of the country's largest ad and brand performance measurement firms.

Orlick (pictured) takes on her new role after more than twelve years at Nielsen, latterly as SVP, Solutions and Innovation, Media Analytics. She was previously SVP, Client Consulting and Media Analytics, and joined the organization as VP, Sales and Marketing.

In her new role, Orlick will lead the Phoenix MI Network & Media efforts for Phoenix Brand Effect, and will collaborate with networks and media companies to support their ad sales research through the use of the Brand Effect measurement platform. She reports to EVP Paul Kultgen, who comments: 'This is an exciting time for Phoenix and we are thrilled to have a powerhouse like Michele join our team, Michele's deep experience and relationships in networks and media analytics is an ideal addition to the Phoenix team just as we hit a major inflection point in our growth'.
